Labor Day Weekend

We had a super fun Labor Day weekend full of fun family activities!  My cousin Andy, his wife Coatney, and their adorable son Carter came to Knoxville for a visit.  Carter is 7 months now, and it was his first trip to TN to meet the rest of the Cobble clan who hadn't yet been to TX to meet him!  Mostly picture post ahead...get ready!

Friday night, we had a wonderful family dinner at Aunt Jan and Uncle Steve's house!
Ellie meeting her 2nd cousin Carter- very exciting for both babes :)
3 cousins- we just may have planned their adorable matching outfits :)
Me snuggling Gwennie, Rebecca, and Coatney
Ma-Maw meeting Carter for the first time

Coatney making friends with Ellie :)
Splashing in Aunt Jan's pretty fountain
 "Ring Around the Rosie"
Singing "Happy Birthday" to Mike and Ryan- 30 and 10!

Saturday, we went down to tailgate at the 1st UT game of the season, and then the girls and babies headed back to Aunt Jan's house while the guys all went to the football game.

1st TN tailgates for Carter, Gwennie, and Ellie!
 Cute families!  Love these 6!!
"Dip" anyone?
It was fun having 3 infant car seats in my car and the back 2 rows full!  I chauffeured the 5 of them :)
Carter trying out Gwennie's Mamaroo- it was a hit!
Aunt Jan in Gwennie snuggle heaven :)
Happiest girl in the world reading books with her new buddy Coatney!
A crazy Saturday night with the babes- wouldn't want it any other way!!!

Sunday, we went on a fun boat ride with Ashley and David.  We headed down to Calhoun's and had appetizers and drinks at the tiki bar.  That night, we went down to Booms Day to watch the fireworks from inside The First Tennessee building!  What a fun way to celebrate the end of summer!

Ellie loves the wind in her face!
Not the greatest picture, but we had a awesome view from 26 floors high! Ellie was sad when the fireworks were over...she kept saying "more please" the whole way home. Sweet girl still begging for more at 10:30 at night :)
Gwennie enjoyed the fireworks, too ;)

Labor Day itself was more low-key.  We grilled out with friends and had fun playing at home after a busy weekend!  We loved spending time with all of our family!!!  So much love to go around!

Ellie was cheesing for the camera, but Noah was entirely too busy to stop for smiles :)

I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day weekends!  Now who is ready for FALL?!!?  We sure are!!!  It's our favorite time of year at this household!  Bring on the cooler weather, apple cider, bonfires, changing leaves, and pumpkin everything!
